Wow. “Be Yourself”. That’s easy and hard to answer at the same time. On a simplistic level, YOU are the only “you” in the world. But of course, this applies to everyone else as well. So how unique are we exactly? What does it truly mean to be oneself?
When I hear the words “be yourself” I’m immediately reminded of two of my favorite quotes: “ I rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I’m not” and “To define is to limit”
These words are so inspiring. I wish more people in this world would hear these quotes actually. If they did, I think they would be able to be themselves a little easier. To each is own.
My “myself” is, and should be, different from your “yourself” (I know that sounds weird but whatever…moving on)
All that matters is that whatever you do you give it 100+%. Whatever you do…strive to do it so well that nobody can do it better.
Be often imitated but never duplicated.
Dare to be different.
Just be, well…YOU!
It’s the easiest sounding job in the world, but like so many other things in life, the simplest tasks are sometimes the hardest ones.
So, Be Yourself.
When I hear those words I think it’s all a matter of discovering who you really are deep down inside, untapping into that divine potential, and taking the necessary first steps to begin walking in it. If and when that happens, I think that space is the limit for anybody.
